Method
- Combine chopped lettuce, red onion, banana peppers, tomatoes, meats and cheeses in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, banana pepper juice, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper until smooth.
- Pour dressing over the salad and toss until everything is well coated.
- Serve immediately or chill briefly to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- For meal prep, store undressed salad for up to 3 days and dressing separately for up to 5 days.
- Turn this into a sandwich by serving on a hoagie roll, or make it a pasta salad by adding 2 cups of cooked pasta.
