Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, toss the shredded chicken with hot buffalo sauce until thoroughly coated. For extra flavor, let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Drizzle ranch dressing over the buffalo chicken mixture and stir gently to combine. Reserve a little extra dressing for serving.
  3. In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, diced celery, shredded carrots, and blue cheese crumbles.
  4. If using optional ingredients like red onions, avocado, or bell peppers, add them to the salad bowl and toss gently to incorporate.
  5. Add the buffalo chicken mixture to the salad and toss everything together until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  6. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top for freshness and a pop of color. If using green onions, add them at this stage as well.
  7. If desired, add a final drizzle of buffalo sauce or ranch dressing for extra flavor, and top with crispy tortilla strips or croutons for added texture.
  8. Serve immediately while the chicken is still slightly warm for the best flavor contrast with the cool, crisp vegetables.
