- Add diced ham and onion to the food processor. Pulse until ham is finely minced. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Mix ham and onion mixture with mayonnaise, relish and black pepper until well combined.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for 1-2 hours to allow flavors to meld together.
Notes
- For best flavor, refrigerate the ham salad for at least an hour before serving.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
- Add chopped celery for extra crunch
- Substitute dill relish for a tangier flavor
- Mix in a teaspoon of dijon mustard for depth of flavor
- Use light mayonnaise or substitute half with Greek yogurt for a lighter version
