Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound medium shells pasta
  • 14 ounces imitation crab meat
  • ½ cup frozen peas, thawed
  • ½ cup red onion, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup celery, chopped
  • ½ cup red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh chives, chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine pasta, crab meat, peas, onion, celery, bell pepper, mayonnaise, and dill.
  3. Gently stir until everything is well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  5. Garnish with fresh chives before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
  • For extra flavor, add 1 tablespoon of lemon zest or 1-2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning.
