- Toss the cubed apples with the lemon juice in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the apples, celery, grapes, pecans, and cranberries to the bowl with the dressing.
- Gently fold everything together until evenly coated.
- Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.
Notes
- Apple varieties: Honeycrisp works best, but Pink Lady, Gala, Fuji, or Braeburn also work well.
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half of the mayonnaise.
- Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for warm fall flavors.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
