Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup whole buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2-3 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons fresh minced parsley or 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • to taste Seasoning salt or salt and black pepper

Method
 

  1. Combine mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, buttermilk, milk, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, and seasonings in a mixing bowl or mason jar.
  2. Whisk or shake until completely smooth and well combined.
  3. Adjust thickness by adding more milk or buttermilk if desired.
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings to preference.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to develop.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
  • Shake well before using as separation may occur.
  • For a mellower garlic flavor, use roasted garlic instead of raw.
  • This dressing works wonderfully on salads, as a vegetable dip, or as a sandwich spread.
