Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice (about 2-3 medium limes)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar (optional, to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup canola oil

Method
 

  1. Combine lime juice, honey, sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cumin in a blender.
  2. Blend briefly to combine ingredients.
  3. With blender running on low, slowly stream in olive oil and canola oil until emulsified and slightly thickened.
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
  5. Transfer to a glass jar with tight-fitting lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Shake well before each use as natural separation will occur.
  • For a cilantro variation, add ¼ cup fresh chopped cilantro to the blender with other ingredients.
